Literacy Learning Objectives
Over 30 Literacy Learning Objectives that can be added to PowerPoint lessons, worksheets and lesson plans for all subjects to promote whole school literacy.
Categorised by "Reading", "Writing" and "Speaking and Listening", these can be referred to for students and teachers to actively develop literacy skills across the curriculum.
Learning Journey - Student Friendly Unit of Work Template
A template designed to allow students ownership of their learning by understanding where they are and where they are going in their learning journey. Student can self-assess where they are on their learning journey after each lesson or which skills they have missed or not mastered and will need to return to. Great for showing progress over time.
Donkey Kong Differentiation
An adaptable Progress Measure that allows students to self-assess or peer-assess their work using set criteria for specific levels. Students can independently work through the set questions and climb the ladders by achieving each of the set criteria, but lose points when hit by a "Literacy Barrel" (e.g. spelling errors).
Students are then able be scored and can compete with each other to enhance engagement as well as learning.

A Rigorous lesson planning tool to guarantee Outstanding teaching and learning - students are able to make rapid and sustained progress through progress check points, first and second attempts in learning, differentiated outcomes, literacy opportunities and a clear learning journey/bigger picture that allows students to make progress over time.

Behaviour For Learning Reward Scheme: Monkey Dollars
A Reward Scheme designed to provide students ownership and independence for their behaviour; students earn Monkey Dollars and are able to trade them in for a variety of rewards as set by the teacher. Students may choose an instant reward, save for a specific reward or save for a specific date to retrieve rewards.
A highly successful scheme that has had great results with some of the most challenging groups of students, as well as developing numeracy skills and responsibility in students.
A Level English Literature Progress Tracker - Flight-pathways
A method of assessing student progress at A and AS level that measures according to "Flight-pathways" - where students should be at different points throughout the course in terms of ALPS. It allows differentiation methods to be tracked and monitored as well as intervention strategies to be implementing.
It is also a useful tool for students to take ownership of their own learning by meeting their targets and measuring their own progress.
Self Assessment Progress Counters
